Praise the Lord, O servants of the Lord,
and praise the name of the Lord.
On this day a wash basin has been set up, a washing for the remission of sin.
On this day our Lord, while washing the feet of the disciples said:
"One of you, brothers, will betray me to death, and behold, he will withdraw from you, My disciples."
Having heard this, Peter made a sign to John to ask: "Who is it?"
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit;
Now and for ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
The word spoken by Jesus made His disciples sorrowful, and they were all troubled in spirit.
