The Lord reigneth;
He is clothed with majesty.
Today the multitudes of citizens of heaven
Celebrate with joy the feast of the renewal of the Holy Church;
For to us is given a High Priest from all eternity;
For the enlightenment of the Holy Catholic Church.
Glory to Your coming, O Lord!
Today a pillar of light has overshadowed us from on high;
For the Heavenly King comes into the Holy Church;
And the armies of the angels, spreading among peoples
Celebrate with us.
Glory to Your coming, O Lord!
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit;
Now and for ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Today the high priest
Honored by the true divine law;
Sets up a four-cornered altar of sacrifice in the likeness of the cross;
In worthy manner performing sacrifice on it
He distributes the Lord's body and blood;
With purity, draw near, you saved new peoples;
And beseech Christ to grant him to us for many days.
