My soul shall magnify the Lord;
And my spirit shall rejoice in God my Saviour.
Mother-of-God,
tabernacle of the Light,
place of the uncontainable Sun of life!
You became the dawning of the Sun of righteousness
and you overshadowed with light
us who sat in the darkness;
For this we all magnify you always.
Undefiled temple and bush unconsumed!
You bore in yourself the unquenchable fire of divinity
which by burning extinguished in us
the flame of the passions;
For this we all magnify you always.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit;
Now and for ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Living ark of the covenants of the New Union!
The Word sealed in you
pointed out to us through the Spirit
the way into the promised land;
For this we all magnify you always.
