Note: Many parishes use the variables of Theophany not only for the actual Badarak of January 6th, but also for the Badarak of the closest Sunday to January 6th. This year for example, the Badarak of Sunday January 7, 2001 will follow the variables of Theophany (of Saturday January 6, 2001) in many of our parishes. This is done for practical reasons - to accommodate those unable to attend the Theophany service of Saturday January 6, 2001.
