Plans are underway for the 55th Annual Choir Assembly, hosted by the Armenian
Church of the Holy Ascension, Trumbull, Connecticut, November 1-4, 2001. The choir
invites you all to join us in this spectacular event; some of the highlights include:
- Informative Assembly Sessions,
- Educational Musical Workshops to expand our understanding of our sacred
music,
- A Fabulous Dinner / Dance on Friday evening,
- The Annual Banquet on Saturday evening, with a featured performer,
- On Sunday morning we will celebrate Soorp Badarak, combining clergy and
choir members from all over the Diocese.
We are especially excited to announce that several Youth Choirs have accepted the invitation of our dear leader, Rev. Fr Untzag Nalbandian, to join voices in Trumbull on that day.
The Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension looks forward to your participation
in the Assembly this year, a year so noteworthy in our Church history. This is a
wonderful opportunity to be a part of the celebration of the beautiful sacred
music of our Church, and we welcome you all to join in!
Respectfully,
Elisa Griego, Choir Director
