Subject: Choir Robes Cost Update
The Association of Armenian Church Choirs of America will continue to charge $165 for each adult choir robe. The decision was made to keep the cost unchanged, despite an increase in labor costs. Prices for other robes are $125 for each Junior Choir robe, $100 for each regular Deacon's Stole and $125 for each wraparound style Deacon's Stole.
The robe patterns come in small, medium, large and extra large sizes. Any alteration to the robe pattern, e.g., inches shorter or longer at hem line or sleeve, will result in an additional cost of $10 for each alteration. If churches order actual measrurements for their robes, these become "custom-made" robes and are priced individually, based upon the labor charge. Pocket opening plackets, especially for deacons' robes, cost $20 each.
Adult Choir robes have a light beige body and a burgundy yoke. Deacon's robes have the same color body with a royal blue yoke. Junior Choir robes are made one color, light beige. Should a choir request that Junior Choir robes to be of the same color combination as Adult Choir robes, the charge is that of an adult robe.
The Central Council also continues to have new lace veils for immediate delivery. They are in the "Chapel Cap" style, with the veil flowing to the shoulders. The cost is $15 per veil.
