Practical workshops and interactive classes teach the participants the deacons' parts of the liturgy and take the mystery out of the rituals, the music, the symbols and the chants. Students who complete the program return to their home churches with polished liturgical skills, a more satisfying sense of participation in the church's worship, and many new friends. The program is open to men and women at least 15 years old.

The St. Vartan Camp offers six sessions this year: Session A, June 26-July 9; Session A1, June 26-July 2; Session B, July 10-23; Session B1, July 10-16; Session C, July 24-Aug. 6; Session C1, July 24-30. The sessions are at the Ararat Youth and Conference Center in Greenville, NY, about 30 miles south of Albany.

The Hye Camp , in Ingleside IL, offers one one-week sesson July 31-Aug. 6.

Please publicize these scholarship programs among your choir members and Sunday School students, organists and altar servers.

NOTE: The funds for the scholarship winners will be paid to the organization providing the summer program in the name of the scholarship winner.
