Association of Armenian Church Choirs of America (AACCA)

Bulletin #02 2004

To: Parish Priests, Parish Council Chairs, Choir Directors, Organists

From: Deacon Gregory Krikorian, AACCA Central Council Chair

Subject: Choir Day Plate Collections

Date: December 18, 2003

More than ever, the continuation of worthwhile projects of the Association of Armenian Church Choirs of America depends this year on funds sent in by the choirs of our Diocese.

These contributions help pay for such things as: Junior Choir gatherings, making up the difference between cost and price of choir robes, and other projects. They also pay for scholarships as well as for closer contact between the Central Council and choirs throughout the Diocese.

Each year we ask the choirs of our Diocese to hold a special Choir Day Plate Collection and to send the proceeds to the Central Council for the benefit of the AACCA's programs. As you are aware, according to our Bylaws, dues are not assessed, but your financial contribution goes a long way toward funding the projects of the Choir Association. This year we ask you to seek out generous contributors in your parish to supplement the plate collections, as some individuals may wish to provide their separate support for this purpose.

In all cases, we request that checks for the Choir Day Plate Collections be made payable to AACCA and mailed all together so that your choir will receive the proper acknowledgement in our annual financial report. Please mail checks to:
