Bulletin #14 2003

To: Parish Priests, Parish Council Chairs, Choir Directors, Organists

From: Dn. Gregory Krikorian, Chair, AACCA Central Council

Subject: Pilgrimage to Armenia

Date: May 27, 2003

Earlier this year in January, all choirs were notified of the Pilgrimage to Holy Etchmiadzin being planned by the Diocese of the Armenian Church (Eastern). His Holiness Catholicos Karekin II has invited Armenians from all over the world to participate in the Pilgrimage and has made arrangements for our Primate to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin on Sunday, September 28, 2003. That day, our choir will sing the Divine Liturgy.

The group will depart from the United States on Tuesday, September 23, and will return on Sunday, October 5. For information on daily excursions, please refer to the color brochure issued by the Diocese. The tour cost will be $2,750.00 per person, double occupancy, including round trip from New York, with a deposit of $1,000 due upon registration. Travel arrangements are being handled by Utopia Travel. For additional details, please call them at 718-961-0700. This is the correct number; please note that it was misprinted in the original brochure.

It is important that the Central Council know who will be the choir members to sing with the joint choir at the Badarak directed by Maestro Khoren Mekanejian, so that regional rehearsals can be set up. Please send the names, addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of those who will be participating in the Pilgrimage to:
