Association of Armenian Church Choirs of America (AACCA)

Bulletin #16 2000

To: Parish Priests, Parish Council Chairpersons, Choir Chairpersons, Choir Leaders, Organists

From: Dr Socrates Boyajian, Chair, Central Council

Date: August 31, 2000

Subject: IMPORTANT REMINDERS

The 54th Annual Choir Assembly is close at hand. We would like to remind our choirs to send in their Annual Reports. Please take the time now to fill in, sign, and mail your Annual Report.

There have been no specific bids for hosting the year 2001 assembly. We ask you to consider hosting this important aspect of our organization's function. In addition, if your choir has not sent in a plate collection donation towards the operating costs of the Choir Association, please do so. Lastly, the minutes of the 53rd Choir Assembly were sent out earlier this year. I ask that you forward any comments you may have, to:

Yeretzgin Roberta Kochakian - Central Council, Corresponding Secretary
7129 Winding Brook Ct
West Bloomfield, MI 48322

By doing so, we will be able to consolidate a list of comments that can be shared with the delegates at the 54th Choir Assembly.

On a lighter note (no pun intended), during the course of the Choir Assembly weekend, the Central Council will be hosting a spoof of the game show "Jeopardy", focusing in on facts regarding Armenian music (all answers need to start in the form of a question - "Incheh, Sartarabard. . . ".). If your parish choir would like to participate as a team, please contact our Corresponding Secretary.
