Enclosed are the minutes of the 53rd Annual Choir Assembly held in Richmond, VA, with the Choir of St James Armenain Church as host. The minutes and accompanying reports have been approved by the Primate and the Diocesan Council.
You will also find the a listing of the 1999-2000 Central Council members of the Association of Armenian Church Choirs of America.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Stepan Nazarian for his efforts, as the Secretary of the 53rd Choir Assembly, in producing these minutes. I truly appreciate his efforts in documenting the events and decisions of the 53rd Choir Assembly.
Please review the enclosed minutes. And if needed, provide your comments to me or any other member of the year 2000 Central Council, prior to our meeting at the 54th Choir Assembly. The Central Council will keep a log of the comments received. This log will be presented during the 54th Choir Assembly for consideration of changes to the minutes (during the 54th Choir Assembly I would like to see us spend a minimum amount of time in approving the enclosed minutes).
