Bulletin #13 1999

To: Parish Priests, Parish Council Chairpersons, Choir Chairpersons, Choir Leaders, Organists

From: Dr Socrates Boyajian, Chair, Central Council

Date: August 2, 1999

Subject: Choir Annual Reports / Choir Plate Collections

The Central Council is awaiting the receipt of Choir Annual Reports for the Year 1998, with audio cassette, along with current, up-to-date lists of officers and choir members with addresses and telephone numbers. As you know, the Annual Report is the basis upon which the Central Council chooses the Gomidas and Yegmalian awards, and this year the Council also requests that a tape of each choir's Badarak accompany the report. If your choir's Annual Report has not yet been forwarded to the Central Council, please take some time to complete it, have it duly signed and send it in as soon as possible to the address below. Your cooperation will be deeply appreciated.

Again, as a reminder, we urge you to consider the importance of the Choir Plate Collection as an added support to the Central Council in carrying out its programs. If your choir had the foresight to make its annual plate collection last November on the Feast of the Holy Archangels, we appreciate the fact that you did so. If not, please use a forthcoming feast day or other prominent date for your parish, to take this special collection and forward the proceeds to the Central Council. We will be grateful for your support.
