Subject: Forthcoming Annual Choir Assemblies
At the last Choir Assembly, a committee for assembly considerations was formed to look into the timing of our assemblies, as to whether they should be continued on an annual basis or whether they should be held overy two or three years. A questionnaire was sent to all choirs so that the Central Council could have a broad base upon which to formulate a decision. Although the responses were very few, the Central Council judges from those responses it did receive, that our assemblies will continue to be held annually, as before.
Therefore, if your choir wishes to host a future annual assembly, the turn of the century is close at hand! Soon you will be receiving detailed information from the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, Cambridge, Massachusetts, regarding the 52nd Annual Choir Assembly, where we look forward to a good representation of parishes. Please check with your Parish Council as to putting in a bid for 1999, or the year 2000, the anniversary of the birth of Our Lord.
The Central Council will be glad to assist any choir in the planning of an assembly. Just call us - we're here to help.
