June 30, 2001 - A new section has been added to this web site that will provide, over time, the translations to the Jashoo Sharagans sung on Sundays . . . on this first posting, the translations of the Eigth Harootyan Jashoo Sharagans are posted (Modes 1-8) . . . a link will also be placed on the corresponding Sundays in the Giratsooyts so that if you use the Giratsooyts, you can also link to the Sunday's Jashoo Sharagan translation . . .
June 25, 2001 - Advance 2001 Choir Assembly News from the Trumbull Choir Assembly Committee . . .
June 24, 2001 - The BYLAWS of the AACCA have been updated to reflect the changes that were approved at the 54th Annual Choir Assembly - the change in the number of people on the Central Council from six to seven.
The specific changes are:
Cover Page - has been updated to reflect that the 2000 amendment is included
ARTICLE IX, SECTION 1 - now seven members will now be on the Central Council
ARTICLE IX, SECTION 11f - advisor(s) instead of advisor
June 18, 2001 - The 2001 Giratsooyts has been updated through July. Sorry for not getting June 17, 2001 posted in time.
But note . . . a new feature will be added shortly in connection to the Giratsooyts - an English translation of the texts for the Jashoo Sharagans we sing on Sundays. This was discussed and suggested by the Central Council of the AACCA to promote a better understanding of the components of the Divine Liturgy. Look for it soon . . .

January 8, 2001 - The 2001 Giratsooyts is a work in progress. We will be posting the full cycle of Sundays for 2001 shortly. The materials are being prepared as you read this.
This year, the Giratsooyts will be prepared by Adrienne Damian, newly elected member to the Central Council of the Association of Armenian Church Choirs of America. She is also the Choir Director of the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection, New Britain, CT.
The Deacon-in-charge of the parish of Holy Resurrection is Deacon Hamlet Mehrabian.
